Subject: a legal absurdity.
Dear Madames/ Sirs.
Today (I am writing these words on Sunday, December 25, 2022) in the State of Israel there is an amazing figure of 98% convictions in the courts. This means that almost every person against whom an indictment is filed is automatically convicted, and without the court conducting any inquiry into his case. The meaning of these things is terrible and terrible: many people who sit in prison for no injustice on their part – when their only sin is a court that did not make any inquiry regarding the crime these people were accused of.
I also think that there is a direct connection between the light (and sometimes even ridiculous) punishments that the courts in the State of Israel impose on criminals found guilty of very serious offenses and the abuse of the various governing bodies in the State of Israel towards sick, disabled or needy people. I have no doubt that many people will deny this and strongly argue that there is no connection between the two things. I, as mentioned, do not think like them. After all, sages have already said that “He who shows mercy to the cruel will end up being cruel to the merciful.” It turns out that this eternal insight that was said in the Jewish sources is still valid 2000 years after it was said.
I think this reality urgently requires correction.
Best regards,
Asaf Benyamini.

December 22, 2022
A rallying cry – the younger generation joining the struggle.
We are your parents, grandmothers and grandfathers, calling you to join and help.
For us in our struggle to increase the shameful old-age pension we receive today,
and which does not allow many of us to live with dignity.
Joining our struggles today will save you the need to come back and fight
When you reach our age.
Our children and grandchildren, our allowance was close until 2003
to the average wage in the economy, and it was possible until 2003 to continue managing our lives,
At a reasonable standard of living, even after we retired.
Some of us (not all of us) also managed to save, some more and some less, in the plans
Supportive pensions.
For many of us, who did not get to work in the public service or in large organizations,
There is no pension at all, and they rely entirely solely on the pension. There is no dispute that the rate of the allowance today does not allow for a minimal life with dignity.
Many ask themselves how in a country that defines itself as a welfare state we have reached such a miserable situation. The answer is, gently,
Greed and disgraceful violation of our rights.
It all started in 2003 when the Minister of Finance at the time chose to sever the connection between the money for the old age pension, which later became a senior citizen’s pension, and the linkage to the average wage in the economy, and to link the pension to the “consumer index.”
Overnight, this move emptied the old-age pension, and over the years, the pension has completely lost its impact on the senior citizen’s life.
At the same time, hundreds of billions of shekels gradually accumulated in the National Insurance fund.
This is money taken from us over decades of work, in order to be returned to us when we reach old age, to give us reasonable social security, and to allow us to continue our lives at an adequate and respectful level.
The disconnection of the old-age pension from the linkage to the “average wage in the economy” index and its linkage to the “consumer index” artificially created “excess funds” in the National Insurance, reaching hundreds of billions of shekels.
The Ministry of Finance, brazenly, considered the huge sums that had accumulated in the National Insurance Fund to be surpluses, and appropriated to itself the money intended from the outset to ensure a basic standard of living for over a million citizens
and veterans (currently about 1,300,000).
There is and continues to be a conspiracy of silence whose purpose is to allow the continuation of this criminal robbery.
The relationship crosses parties!
While the salary of senior officials in the economy starts from the prime minister through the ministers and members of the Knesset, heads of public councils and mayors, CEOs of public companies and other senior officials in the public service,
Linked to the average salary in the economy, and automatically updated every year –
The old age pension was relegated to the abyss of womanhood and simply forgotten.
No more!
Over the past two decades, hundreds of billions of shekels have been transferred from the National Insurance to the Budget Division of the Ministry of Finance. The funds were given as a “loan” and the entire move was done quietly behind the scenes and without any proper publicity.
The loan was never repaid. On the contrary, it grew to proportions
Monstrous.
We come back and ask for your support in our just struggle. Today it is
We are tomorrow, it’s you.

C. Here are some posts I published on the Facebook social network:
1)A deaf man is dying in the street. He passes by a kindergarten – and at that exact moment a police car passes by.
The policeman turns to the deaf man, points to the children playing there and asks the deaf man: “Say, are these your children?”.
The deaf man does not respond.
A policeman gets angry and raises his voice: “Are these your children? Please answer what they are asking you!!”.
The deaf person does not hear – and therefore does not respond either.
The nervous policeman gets out of the car: “Tell me, what don’t you hear? I asked you a question – answer me already!!!”.
The deaf person takes out a note from his pocket that says he is deaf and cannot hear people or answer them – and he points to the kindergarten teacher who looks after them.
Policeman: “I understand – but you’re under arrest. When a policeman addresses a citizen, he always, but always has to answer!!! Are you deaf? Your problem – it’s the law!!!”.
2) An angel meets a human being and offers him: “I want to show you what hell looks like, and also what heaven looks like.”
A man is startled, and replies with a refusal: “I have always been curious to see what hell and heaven look like. But in the meantime I am alive – after I die, when I pass to the next world I will know anyway.”
Malach answers: “Don’t worry – I will give you a very short tour of only a few minutes – and immediately after that I will return you to your earthly life.”
A person is convinced and agrees to the request.
Angel: “First, I will show you what hell looks like.”
You arrive at a place where a group of people are sitting around a bowl of soup. But none of them manage to eat from the soup. The reason: the spoons are too long, and no one can eat from the soup using the spoon in their possession. They all look blind, very thin and neglected.
An angel adds and says: “Come now and I will show you what paradise looks like.”
We arrive at another place where there is again a group of people sitting around a bowl of soup – only this time everyone is eating to their heart’s content from the soup and enjoying it. The reason: each one, using the long spoon in his possession, gives the one in front of him in the circle to eat from the soup.
Of course the conclusion is clear…
3) The following is the post I wrote on the Facebook page of Ha’ad Kaan B (Network B):
Asaf Benjamin
In the program “Here Tonight” the broadcaster said a few minutes ago that the Vatican State is the smallest country in the world. Well-that’s just not true. Not far from the Vatican there is a country called San Marino (which is a neighborhood in the city of Rome – but is defined as a separate country and not part of Italy). Also, a few kilometers west of the city of Liverpool in England there is a state entity that is also smaller in area than the Vatican – which includes only about 27 inhabitants – an island state in the middle of the sea. Apparently the one who can truly win the title of the smallest country in the world today is the Principality of Sealand – which actually includes one observation tower in the middle of the Lemanche Canal – and as of today only has about 2 residents in its territory. However, this country is not recognized by the countries of the world as a separate state entity. The smallest country in the world that is also recognized as an independent state entity is probably San Marino and not the Vatican.
4)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1dFMnzvQsU
Professor Mordechai Keidar’s lecture on the truth behind the World Cup in Qatar that ended a few days ago(The lecture is in Hebrew):
I think that everyone who participated in one way or another in this so-called “football celebration” will bear a stigma on their forehead forever.
Please listen – does human life no longer have value? After all, how many thousands of underprivileged workers paid with their lives for the construction of the facilities!!! So why doesn’t it count? Because they are disadvantaged populations from the third world?
A culture in which a football game – 22 people running after a ball is more important than human life – is a beastly and immoral culture!!!
Shame on the world and humanity that they allowed such a thing at all!!!!
And let’s not forget that Qatar also supports terrorist organizations – like the Hamas organization that shed the blood of so many Israelis!!!
I’m just ashamed of all the Israelis who went there to watch the games.
There was no reason to cooperate with this corrupt enterprise – and it is a great shame that we did so.
And the State of Israel chose to cooperate – and a state that behaves this way cannot be moral or enlightened for any reason!!
5)A new law is passed, which obliges every mentally challenged person or with mental problems to place a sign near their home in a prominent place announcing this.
A traumatized person who lives in the city chooses not to obey the law, but the authorities for their part do not enforce the regulation.
The residents of the neighborhood begin to organize demonstrations in front of the man’s house every night, and call out over the loudspeaker: “Put up a sign already – you are hurt and people should know that and beware of you!!”.
The man goes out to the protesters: “What do you want from my life? I don’t put up any sign – I’m a resident just like you. Leave me alone.”
Residents: “No. We will not leave you alone. Until you obey the law and put up the sign, we will not let you sleep at night!!!”.
Hahaha…
6) A warning letter will be sent from the municipality to the home of a mentally ill person: “Our neighborhood and our city are a normal living environment, of normal people. Therefore and in accordance with this we ask you, and in any language of request, to stop with the symptoms of your illness immediately. Failure to follow instructions This will lead to an immediate evacuation from our city.”
Two weeks pass, and the enforcement officers arrive with an eviction order: “You disregard the law and the order of the authorities – we are forced to evict you from the property.”
The resident: “But I have no other place to be.”
The municipal inspectors: “We are not interested. This is your problem – you received an order to stop the symptoms of your illness and you simply put a stop to us. Now vacate your apartment immediately and leave our city immediately!!!”.
7) Patients in a psychiatric ward get ready for a Hanukkah party, and start singing: “We came to banish darkness…”.
The department staff: “Disperse the demonstration immediately!!!! You are psychiatric patients – and you are the absolute and absolute darkness!!! You have no right to sing we have brought darkness to drive away – after all, you are the darkness!!”.
Psychiatrists in the department forcibly take each patient to his room, accompanied by an auxiliary force: “You will not have parties here!!! This is not a discotheque!!”.
8) A severe drought prevails – and a severe lack of water develops, even for drinking.
Government (with the support of the general public): “We will deny mentally ill people the right to use water for any need or interest. They can die of thirst – no big deal. We want to get rid of them anyway.”
9) All schools have cameras connected to a central hub. Every time one of the children curses a teacher, they stop him immediately.
Will students remain in the schools?
10) A nursing home is being privatized. A private company begins to manage the place, and the owner of the company begins to think about how to maximize economic profit. Among the steps proposed by him:
- A significant cut in the residents’ food and medicine rations.
- Considerable reduction in the number of beds – from today each group of seniors will go to sleep in one bed – why spend so much money buying a bed for each person?
- Cancellation of all activities and classes.
- Canceling the families-visitors may lead to a public struggle that they will lead on the issue, which may endanger the success of the program.
The local management members agree to the plan and approve it: “One way or another, the elderly will die in a few years – at least we will save the money.”
11) A prosperous city, the mayor obtains many budgets which he invests in education, welfare, etc.
The mayor obtains all the funds from illegal online gambling and gambling winnings in casinos around the world – and even from trading in human corpses.
Residents: The main thing is that the mayor cares about us and our quality of life. What do we care about where he gets the money and what he does elsewhere.
